Brand

  • Branding, in my eyes, is the most important aspect of a business, institution, family, person. It defines who you are and how you are positioned in the eyes and minds of others. I have a very elegantly rustic style and I plan to use that and mold it into a professional style. It is very important for women to not make their brand "girly" unless that is your target market. Even then, there is a fine line between girly and professionally attracting your target market. This is one of the biggest mistakes women make in business and most never even know. Thanks to Nice Girls Don't Get the Corner Office by Dr. Lois Frankel....I learned a plethora of things to do and not do to help be successful. Most I agree with - good book, along with Ambituous by Dr. Debra Condren. My audience is anyone and everyone which is why I plan to keep my brand gender neutral and attractive to a diverse range of people.

  • It's very important to have a style and brand that diversifies you from everyone else while maintaining professionalism
